Fairfield Circutry's newest line of pedals explores the capabilities of incorporating control voltages into expression pedals. These pedals encourage a bridge between pedals and control voltages to create unique sonic experiences.
Conflict of Interest
Conflict of Interest
The conflict of interest is an envelope follower which can be used with or without CV input. This pedal allows customization of the attack and release, sensitivity and envelope polarity. It also features three modes which change the use of the button. In mode one, the envelope will cycle after the button is pressed. Mode two sends a high signal to the follower. Finally, mode 3 allows the envelope to continuously loop unless interrupted by the button input.
The GATE input allows a CV to act as the button in mode one, and in mode two, the signal is passed to the follower allowing the signal to become part of your sound. The ENV output allows the pedal to act as a envelope generator.
Board Member
Board Member
The Board member is an expression controlled voltage sag which starves the next pedal in line of voltage adding crisp 'crunch'. This pedal works best with simple analog circuits and modular signals (compatibility list can be found here). The CV input/ expression allows control over the sag.
Less & Less
Less & Less
The Less & Less is a passive dual attenuator which grants control over CV and expression inputs. It works especially well when in combinations with the Split! in which case it acts as a compact expressive rocker.
Split!
Split!
The Split is a passive dual TRS breakout which allows the send and return features of TRS to be accessed by 1/8" TS. This utility splits a TRS into the (t)ip and (r)ing, and functions in both mono and stereo as the two inputs and outputs are normalized.
PB & J
PB & J
The PB & J is a compact 8 point patch-bay which allows the marriage of TRS and 1/8" TS cables. Go from TRS to semi-modular and vice versa with one units up to 8 times.
Either / Or
Either/Or
The Either / Or is a 50K potentiometer which can be toggled on and off with two buttons. These buttons allow the potentiometer to be switched in (m)omentairy or (l)atching mode. This utility functions similarly to an expression rocker and can re used to create a pre-set expression value.
