The goal of this system is to spotlight the power of Intellijel's Atlantix by generatively sequencing it and processing it with lush effects.
From left to right we have a Pico Trigger as a clock and additional trigger source, running into the After Later build of the infamous Turing Machine, which is operating as our sequencer. A Motley Modular Towel fits in a gap here to attenuate or mix in control voltages from the extra trigger sources. The voltages it generates are quantized to musical notes by the Intellijel Scales before passing into the pitch input of the Atlantix, a full synth voice - Two oscillators, Filter, VCA, Envelope Generation, a Mixer and even instant modulation in one module.
We can process the sound generated from this powerhouse in a few ways - After Later's build of the classic Fuse from Mutable Instruments provides cross modulation using its internal oscillator and the output of the Atlantix, which can be patched back into the auxiliary inputs of the Atlantix to be mixed with the original signal. We then have Modbap's Hue as an easy way to add some tape saturation and to further thicken the sound of the synth before it passes into the gorgeously lush Black Stereo Reverb from Erica Synths. At the end of the chain is the Blood Cells Audio Auscult, providing us with stereo output through headphones and 1/4" jacks.
Altogether this package is very fun to tweak and gives you many ways of altering the tone of a the synth voice to match the changes in the sequence.
