Join us at Cicada Sound on Saturday, September 27th from 6-8pm for a special artist talk from renowned techno icon Jeremy P. Caulfield!

Jeremy P Caulfield is known for stripped-down, driving techno that balances raw intensity with hypnotic groove. His sound moves between jacking rhythms and deep, trippy atmospheres, built for peak-time dance floors but with the subtle detail of a seasoned producer. With roots in Berlin’s underground and a career spanning over two decades, his sets and productions carry both the weight of experience and the urgency of forward-thinking techno.

Over the years his setup and studio have shifted alongside his life — from being a full-time DJ in Berlin, to stepping away from the scene, and now returning to music while also raising a family and running a design practice. Finding time for music has meant streamlining his process, working with what’s essential, and creating without guilt, knowing it’s something he needs to do. That balance has kept his work connected to past successes while pushing forward with the same commitment that’s always driven him. 

Jeremy P Caulfield’s talk at Cicada will dive into how his music and studio practice have evolved across very different stages of life  from the relentless pace of Berlin’s underground, to a long break from the scene, to returning as both a father and a designer. He’ll speak about finding time for music within that balance, how streamlining gear and process has kept creativity alive, and why staying connected to past successes while pushing forward with the same commitment remains at the core of his work.
