The Erica Synths Razornator is a unique stereo effects processor developed in collaboration with 112dB, designed to reshape the harmonic content of any audio source using five chromatically tuned resonating delay lines. Capable of emulating the resonant characteristics of instruments, rooms, and physical objects, it offers expressive sound design for synthesizers, guitars, vocals, drums, and more. With preset storage, MIDI control, envelope-following modulation, and a true stereo signal path, Razornator is equally at home in the studio or on stage.

Key Features

  • Five Chromatic Resonators: Five independently tuned delay-based resonators create harmonic resonance, tuned in musical intervals for melodic and chordal effects.
  • Integrated Signal Processing: Features an analog gain stage with up to +24 dB of boost, resonant low-pass filter, compressor, equalizer, and balanced stereo outputs.
  • Envelope Follower: Dynamically modulates resonator tuning based on the incoming signal for expressive, performance-responsive effects.
  • Preset Storage & Morphing: Save and recall all 12 parameters, with smooth preset morphing for seamless transitions.
  • Full MIDI Integration: Control every parameter via MIDI, including playing resonator tunings directly from a MIDI keyboard or sequencer.
  • Configurable Footswitch Input: Hands-free preset switching and performance control.
  • True Stereo Architecture: Preserves stereo imaging throughout the entire signal path.
  • Premium Desktop Design: Rugged aluminum enclosure matching Erica Synths' compact desktop series.

The Razornator goes beyond traditional delay and resonance effects by combining harmonic resonators, analog processing, dynamic modulation, and deep MIDI control into a single performance-focused unit. Whether you're adding organic resonances, creating evolving harmonic textures, or transforming simple sounds into rich, playable soundscapes, it offers a highly musical and distinctive approach to stereo effects processing.
