Single Slice Compressor (Used)

Single Slice Compressor is a tube-based OTA (operational-transconductance amplifier) compressor design. The goal in the design wasn’t to completely squish the sound into oblivion, but to provide a gentler squeeze to fatten the sound and control dynamics. Single Slice was designed for bass so it has a lovely low frequency response, but the mids and highs were kept in tact so it works equally as well on guitar. Manipulating the Attack and Sensitivity controls can provide a wide variety of tones, from subtle to more aggressive. The option of a clean blend, with the ability to go from full dry to full wet and everywhere in between, gives great flexibility for parallel compression as well.

Single Slice is true bypass and comes stock with a 12AU7 (ECC82) tube. Input impedance is 5.6MΩ, but can be modified to suit individual needs. Please contact for details before ordering if you need a different input impedance.

This used unit is in great condition and comes in the original packaging. It has some velcro on the rear, as pictured.
